Message my car 7 years ago it came with the SZ Sebring catbacks. The exhaust tips were very close to the rear fascia and on the PS were nearly touching it.

I lived with that arrangement until recently when I wanted to be able to better clean the fascia in that area. I needed more space between the tips and the fascia.

Basically much of the Z32s exhaust is suspended from stout rubber hangers and, as far as I can tell (and I may be wrong here), the location of the exhaust tips is largely dependent on the pipe bends and mating surfaces. And for those reasons adjusting the vertical height of the mufflers, with precision, is a bit problematic.

So my solution was to stretch the rearmost rubber hangers. I bought a length of 1/8” x 1” steel strap and I did some estimating about how much distance between the rearmost rubber exhaust hanger bolts and muffler mounting rods would be needed to drop the tips relative to the fascia. After a couple of prototypes I came up with these pieces, the holes of which are drilled on 2” or 1 9/16” centers:

a pair of which is installed like so:

To reassemble: with the bolts tight enough to still allow the green bracket to be adjusted relative to the muffler, attach the bracket/catback assembly (as shown above) to the rubber hanger under the trunk area. Bolt the catback to the midpipes tight enough to still allow the muffler to be rotated to level the tips. Bolt the green bracket to the car body. Level the tips and tighten the mid pipe bolts. Finally, tighten the rubber hanger bolts on the green bracket.

The result is a rock solid exhaust fitment.

There’s probably an easier way of doing this, but it’s tough to argue with the results IMHO.
